Vad är Psychia?
Allt började med en upptäckt på en husvind. Där, undanstoppade i gamla kartonger under lager av annat bråte, gjorde en av våra tidiga medarbetare ett märkligt fynd: en omfattande samling oordnade drömjournaler, anteckningsböcker och privata notiser.
Vi trodde att vi hade hittat ett personligt drömarkiv. Det visade sig att vi hade fått något att göra för resten av livet.
Drömmar och minnen började knytas samman genom återkommande platser, personer och händelser. Fragmenten tycktes få ett eget liv, som delar av en levande organism som börjat organisera, omforma och utveckla sig själv.
Och som fortsätter att växa, även i skrivande stund.

Psychia – Ψυχία
From the Greek ψυχή — soul, mind.
The name also belongs to an ancient Greek island port, little known today but once renowned for its sacred dream oracle.
A First Glimpse of Psychia
It is worth repeating that there is no established way into Psychia. What draws one person in may leave another entirely unmoved, and two journeys beginning with the same fragment may soon have very little in common.
Psychia seems to reward curiosity more than method. A place, a face, a peculiar sentence or an unanswered question may be enough to set you off in an unexpected direction. Connections sometimes reveal themselves only much later; apparent dead ends have an unfortunate habit of opening again.
So begin wherever something catches your attention. Your route through Psychia will, to great extent, be your own.

About Psychia’s Timeline
Many visitors eventually ask about Psychia’s timeline. The short answer is that there is one — but it is neither complete nor entirely agreed upon.
Some events have become firm historical landmarks, most notably the The Sack of the Dream Oracle., which marks Year Zero in much of Psychia. Beyond such points, dates, sequences and even entire periods may remain disputed.
For those wishing to venture further into the matter, REMSEARCH’s Faculty of History has devoted considerably more time to it than I intend to do here.
Now you know enough to begin — and perhaps just enough not to know where you are going.
Follow what interests you. Ignore what does not.
