Founded in 2049, the REMSEARCH Institute is dedicated to the scientific study and exploration of Psychia.
Its researchers combine field exploration, dream cartography, and contemporary oneironautics, aiming to investigate Psychia in all its dimensions.
Time itself in Psychia cannot be reliably fixed. Our investigations begin in the present, but many of our findings may belong to the past. Others may belong to the future—or to a different temporal frame.
Across those uncertain boundaries of time, we believe our purpose is to reveal the deeper connections among all known civilizations.
The Study and Exploration of Psychia
REMSEARCH investigates recurring locations, entities and phenomena throughout Psychia, searching for patterns without assuming that any environment is fixed or fully understood.
Its work brings together dream researchers, neurologists, psychiatrists, quantum physicists, archivists, writers and trained Oneironauts. Field observations are examined alongside neurological data, personal accounts, recovered material and earlier records.
Expeditions provide direct observation, route documentation and information unavailable through waking analysis alone. Inside the Institute, specialists compare, interpret and preserve what has been recovered. Each investigation contributes to a growing body of research in the Ledger, allowing connections to emerge while contradictions and uncertainties remain intact.
The Institute also monitors the risk of dream contamination and cross-boundary exposure between the various states of consciousness it examines.
The Ledger
The Ledger is the Institute’s primary archive of recorded dream material. It is not arranged as a continuous history. Records may surface without chronological sequence, and relationships between them are not always immediately apparent. Recurring details may be significant. So may contradictions.
Random access particle – Beta access
The dream particle is an experimental navigation system developed by REMSEARCH. When activated, it opens a randomly selected record within the Ledger, bypassing conventional search, chronology and sequence.
The system remains in beta. Destinations cannot be predicted, repeated or guaranteed to remain stable.
